Fig. 1 shows the flight tracks of the AIRMETH flight campaign across the North Slope in 2012 (the darker the shade of blue, the higher the repetition rate of the flight track). Vertical profiles to the top of the atmospheric boundary layer were flown at both ends of each flight track.
