CNRS mooring observations at 22°E 81°28'N in the Atlantic Water inflow north of Svalbard

Ocean currents, seawater temperature, salinity, pressure and dissolved oxygen have been measured from three moorings deployed on the upper slope north of Nordauslandet at about 22°E, over the period September 2017-November 2021. CNRS1 and CNRS2 (22°14'E 81°22'N) were deployed next to each other in 500 m water depth. CNRS3 (21°47'E 81°33'N) was deployed in 1500 m water depth. Actual number of operating moorings and sensor payloads varied over the deployment period. Moorings were equipped with PTC sensors (SBE37, SBE56, RBR Solo and Duet, ..., RDI ADCP WH Long Ranger 75 kHz)
