Ocean-Sea Ice Synthesis from 2007-2016

Using MITgcm and its adjoint model, we assimilate all avaliable observtions to produce this synthesis. the model covers the entire Arctic Ocean, north of Bering Strait and ~44N in the Atlantic Ocean. The data assimilation are performed with 3 chunks: 2007-2010,2010-2013,2013-2016, with a one year overlap. Daily mean state of the model parameters are provided. The data could be used for exploring the 3-D Arctic Ocean variability and mechanisms. I could also be used the explain the observed variability since all state variables are supplied. details are in http://doi.org/10.1002/qj.4002
